Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi listened to the grievances of the people on Monday as part of the Chief Minister’s Public Grievance Hearing Programme. Monday marked the 15th session of the programme.
Along with the CM, eight senior ministers of the state cabinet were also present and heard the citizens’ complaints. The public grievance hearing was held at the Government Primary School located in Unit-2, Bhubaneswar. The CM interacted directly with the people and emphasized ensuring the swift resolution of all public grievances.
Through the CM’s Grievance Cell, out of the 12,950 grievances received in the previous 14 sessions, 12,371 grievances have been resolved, which amounts to 96%. The remaining 579 grievances are currently in process.
Majhi said in a post on X: “Through the public hearing, the people’s government is providing immediate solutions to citizens’ problems. Prioritising your development, we have accelerated the public grievance hearing process. As promised, I personally listen to the issues and share the joys and sorrows of the people in every sphere.”
