Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Friday transferred and posted six IPS officers to different positions across the state.
According to a notification issued by the Home Department, Himansu Kumar Lal, IPS, RR-2003, has been transferred from Inspector General of Police, Northern Range, Sambalpur, and posted as IG of Police, EOW, Bhubaneswar, and STF.
Satyabrat Bhoi, IPS, RR-2004, has been transferred from IG of Police, Northern Central Range, Talcher, with additional charge of Principal, PTC, Angul. He has been posted as IG of Police, Intelligence.
Jai Narayan Pankaj, IPS, RR-2005, has been transferred from IG of Police, Intelligence, Odisha, Bhubaneswar, and posted as IG of Police, Southern Range, Brahmapur.
Niti Shekhar, IPS, RR-2007, has been transferred from IG of Police, Southern Range, Brahmapur, and posted as IG of Police (Provisioning), SP Headquarters.
Charan Singh Meena, IPS, RR-2009, has been transferred from DIG of Police, Provisioning, and posted as DIG of Police, Northern Range, Sambalpur.
Ashish Kumar Singh, IPS, RR-2010, who joined the Home Department after repatriation from Central Deputation, has been posted as DIG of Police, Northern Central Range, Talcher, with additional charge of Principal, PTC, Angul.
The transfers and postings were ordered by the governor through the Home Department notification issued in Bhubaneswar on August 21.
