Keonjhar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Sunday announced that Maa Ghatagaon Tarini Temple in Keonjhar would be transformed into a world-class religious and spiritual tourism destination. He announced this after laying the foundation stone for the Integrated Development Project for the temple complex. Over ₹300 crore has been approved for the project.
The CM said in a post on X: “With Maa’s blessings and the trust of the people, we have approved a grant of more than ₹300 crore for this project. Through this initiative, Maa Tarini’s shrine will be transformed into a world-class religious and spiritual tourism destination. I will personally oversee the progress and execution of this project. Since this work has begun with Maa’s blessing, lack of funds will never become an obstacle.”
Majhi added that the overwhelming support and affection he received during the historic foundation ceremony and grand roadshow have strengthened his resolve to serve the people with even greater commitment.
