NBCC, MSCB University sign Rs 58.61 crore infrastructure project agreement in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: NBCC (India) Limited and Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja (MSCB) Deo University in Baripada on Monday formalised a Rs 58.61 crore infrastructure development project in Odisha.

The university has awarded the contract to the PSU company under an infrastructure development grant. The company will execute the project in the normal course of its business operations.

The scope of work includes constructing multiple buildings and developing roads and drainage systems. The project also covers electrical and mechanical works. In a statement, NBCC said it will act as the Project Management Consultant for the assignment.

The project falls under the domestic contract category. The execution timeline has not been disclosed.

NBCC clarified that the order does not involve any related party transactions. The company also stated that its promoter group and associated entities have no interest in the awarding institution.
