Bhubaneswar: Law, Works & Excise Minister Prithiviraj Harichandan has reviewed the progress and implementation of several major infrastructure projects at a meeting at Lok Seva Bhawan, emphasizing construction quality, sustainability, and modern technology.
The meeting covered projects including National Highway works, the Bhubaneswar Traffic Congestion Control project, the Puri Heritage project, and elevated roads planned at various locations.
The Jaydev Vihar-Nandankanan road and renovation of Gundicha Temple were also discussed during the meeting.
The meeting reviewed development works being undertaken by both the state and central governments across roads, buildings and bridges.
Departmental officers and engineers were advised to focus on sustainability and quality while executing construction projects. The meeting also stressed the proper use of modern technology and artificial intelligence to improve project implementation.
Works Department Principal Secretary Sanjay Kumar Singh, OBCC Managing Director Anupam Saha, EIC-cum-Special Secretary Samir Hota, and senior officials from the Works Department, National Highways, and OBCC attended the meeting.
