BHUBANESWAR: Skill Development Institute (SDI) Bhubaneswar marked the fifth foundation day of its permanent campus in Taraboi, Jatni, highlighting its efforts to strengthen skills and employment opportunities for Odisha’s youth.
Speaking on the occasion, Odisha Chief Secretary Anu Garg said skilled manpower would be a key driver of the state’s growth, particularly in emerging sectors such as semiconductors, green ammonia, advanced manufacturing and textiles.
The occasion also witnessed the launch of a one-year PG Diploma in Advanced Robotics with Artificial Intelligence in collaboration with IIT Bhubaneswar.
German language training was also launched under SIIC as part of efforts to expand advanced skilling and create pathways for Odisha’s youth to access global opportunities.
The foundation day marked five years of the SDI Bhubaneswar Mega Campus at Taraboi, which aims to support skill development and build a stronger workforce for a skilled and self-reliant India.
