Washington: Pop star Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau were seen together in Paris over the weekend, sparking renewed speculation about their relationship.

According to a report by USA Today, the two attended a cabaret show on Saturday (October 25), which also marked Perry’s 41st birthday. Videos and photos circulating online showed the pair leaving the venue hand in hand before stepping into a waiting car surrounded by photographers.

Perry was dressed in a striking red gown with matching heels, while Trudeau opted for a black suit. Neither has publicly commented on the outing or on persistent rumours about their relationship.

Trudeau, 53, served as Canada’s prime minister from 2015 to 2025 and announced his separation from Sophie Grégoire Trudeau in 2023. The former couple, married since 2005, share three children and said at the time they would remain close as co-parents.

Perry, who shares a five-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove, with actor Orlando Bloom, confirmed her split from Bloom earlier this year. In a joint statement, representatives said the two were shifting their focus to co-parenting while maintaining mutual respect and stability for their child.

In recent months, Trudeau has been seen attending Perry’s events, including a concert in Montreal in July, adding to the speculation. Both have kept their personal lives largely private amid growing public attention.
