Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Tuesday expressed hope that all officials will work with a pledge of social commitment against corruption and injustice. Addressing the state-level Vigilance Awareness Week program at Lok Seva Bhawan, the CM made it clear that the government of the people has adopted a policy of zero tolerance against corruption.

He went on to say that the government has been consistently working to bring transparency in public service and developmental activities and has achieved success in doing so.

According to Majhi, corruption creates obstacles to the progress and development of society, weakening the very foundation of governance.

“Therefore, fighting against corruption is not just a duty but also a moral responsibility of every one of us,” he noted. The CM also advised strengthening preventive vigilance measures across various government departments.
