Bhubaneswar: BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday slammed Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati’s speech at the Assembly.
Talking to reporters, Patnaik said that the governor’s speech was nothing but “long on words but short on action.”
Addressing the Assembly at the commencement of the Budget Session, Kambhampati reaffirmed the government’s commitment to inclusive development, good governance, and the welfare of every citizen of the State.
In a post on X, he said: “I am confident that this session will pave the way for meaningful deliberations and progressive outcomes for Odisha.”

Meanwhile, Patnaik criticised the State’s law and order situation, saying it is in a dreadful condition. He said that in the whole country, Odisha is the only State where violence is increasing day by day.
