Bhubaneswar: Chief Secretary Anu Garg on Tuesday assured that sufficient LPG and cooking gas are available across Odisha.

Garg chaired a review meeting at Lok Seva Bhawan, where she urged the public not to panic.

Senior officials from the Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare Department attended the meeting along with representatives of major oil marketing companies, including Indian Oil Corporation Limited and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, media reports said.

The companies informed the chief secretary that the state is receiving adequate supplies of cooking gas, petrol, and diesel.

They also said LPG distribution to institutions such as schools and hospitals is continuing without any disruption.
