Jerusalem: Indian Grandmaster Arjun Erigaisi has lifted the Jerusalem Masters 2025 title. In the final, he defeated former world champion Viswanathan Anand 2.5-1.5. Erigaisi secured the championship by winning the blitz tie-break after both rapid games ended in draws.
Earlier, Anand defeated reigning World Blitz champion Ian Nepomniachtchi in the semi-finals, while Arjun had beaten Russian Grandmaster Peter Svidler.
