New Delhi: The nation on Saturday remembered the brave heroes who laid down their lives in the Pulwama terror attack on February 14, 2019, an incident that shocked the entire country.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi recalled the martyrs’ devotion, resolve, and service to the nation, saying their courage remains forever etched in the collective consciousness of every Indian.
In a post on X, he said: “Every Indian draws strength from their enduring courage.”

Similarly, Vice-President C. P. Radhakrishnan paid homage to the fallen personnel. He added that their bravery continues to inspire citizens to work towards a strong and secure India, according to an official statement.
“Their supreme sacrifice will forever remain etched in the nation’s memory and continues to inspire us to build a strong and secure India,” he said in a post on X.

Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah also remembered the gallantry of the soldiers martyred in Pulwama. In a post on X, he said terrorism is humanity’s greatest enemy and affirmed India’s determination to eradicate it.
