Bhubaneswar: A Maharashtra government delegation led by Priya Khan visited Odisha on Monday to study the Panchasakha Sikhya Setu Alumni Connect Programme, appreciating the State’s 2× Matching Grant Model that strengthens school ecosystems through alumni, community, and corporate participation.

The delegation appreciated Odisha’s 2× Matching Grant Model, which effectively amplifies contributions from alumni and local communities to enhance school infrastructure and learning outcomes.

The visit began with a detailed briefing at the Panchasakha Sikhya Setu Office, where State Project Director-cum-Member Secretary Ananya Das (IAS) presented the objectives and key initiatives of the programme, including MSP, Aithiya Vidyalaya, and Watch & Ward, highlighting their role in strengthening school management and engagement.

CSR heads from Odisha Mining Corporation and IMFA also shared insights on corporate–community collaboration and its impact on school development. The delegation later visited Badagada High School and Kusabhadra High School in Banamalipur, where interactions with alumni and students provided firsthand exposure to the programme’s outcomes on the ground, according to a post on X by PSS Odisha.
